FIND: WATERMELON RADISH

I found this interesting vegetable in my farmer’s market. It's a spring radish related to the turnip and horseradish family. This vegetable is very crunchy and to me it taste more like turnip. It can be eaten raw in salads or sandwiches, roasted, and cooked like a turnip.
Watermelon Radishes peak in the fall but are generally available most of the year. It is a source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and folate.
It is really low in calories and WW points.
1 Cup = 16 cal + 0 fat (WW points: 0)
